Thermostatic Mixing Valve (TMV3): For premixing hot and cold water to a consistent comfortable temperature, a TMV3 valve is required.  It is also recommended for basins with both cold and hot taps, to help prevent scalding. Location of Single Tap: If you intend to use a single tap, please indicate whether the tap will be on the left or right hand side of the basin, from the perspective of a user. We need to know this if you require one tap-hole to be increased in diameter to accommodate a sensor or monobloc mixer tap.

Tap Holes and Taps:  This product is built to order therfore tap holes are drilled as required. Standard drilling is 2 x 28mm tap holes, suitable for standard "hot and cold" tap pairs. If you intend to use a single tap but are not purchasing taps with the basin, please choose one of the options described below. 

• For standard hot and cold tap pair, select "Pair of 28mm tap holes"
• For a standard or sensor single tap to use with cold only or premixed water supply, select "Single 28mm tap hole"
• For a standard monobloc tap, select "Single 35mm tap hole"

If you are purchasing tap(s) from Gentworks with the basin, tap holes will be drilled appropriate to the tap(s) chosen.
