The Apinox Circular Washfountains allow for optimum utilisation of space with less plumbing effort.  This model is designed for 6 users, with all valves and pipework fully concealed within a stainless steel housing.  Each washfountain is configured to order by Acorn Powell and delivered fully assembled with:

 

- liquid soap dispensing system built into the stainless steel spray head assembly

- TMV3 thermostatic mixing valve

- combined checkstop and strainer valves

- unslotted grated waste fitting with 38 OD x 100 mm long (1½ OD x 4 in long) plain spigot tail piece.

 

Tap Options:

Foot operated:  Activates water flow as long as the push button is depressed. 

Hand operated: Push buttons activate individual timed flow non-hold open valves, adjustable for flow duration ranging from 5 to 60 seconds. 

Sensor operated: Provides non-touch control of individual water outlets.  Flow is activated as long as the users' hands are within the basin area.  Sensor operated unit supplied with a 240VAC/24VAC transformer for remote siting. 

 

The Apinox wash fountains have been featured in many publications and are a popular choice for schools as they are considered ideal for unisex facilities, helping to reduce anti-social behaviour.  The sensor operated models meet the water conservation recommendations (CIRIA W012 2006 Sustainable Water Management in Schools).
