Manufactured in Glass Fibre Reinforced Polyester Resin (the same material as often used for boat hulls), this wash trough has a smooth gel-coat finish that is resistant to staining and damage. Its smooth design enables easy cleaning without the requirement for strong cleaning products. The Gentworks GRP wash troughs are ideal for use in washrooms where aesthetics are important. They are particularly popular in the education sector and for modular buildings.

Tap Holes:
Our GRP wash troughs are now supplied without tap holes, allowing for on-site customisation during installation. Installers can easily drill 22mm, 28mm, or 35mm tap holes per user as required to suit your chosen tap.
The most common tap setup is a single non-concussive (self-closing) tap per user, connected to either cold water or a thermostatic mixing valve (TMV) when hot water is available. A TMV ensures an optimal handwashing temperature of approximately 43°C. Self-closing taps prevent water from being left running, improving water efficiency.
