Bactericidal Cleaner kills harmful bacteria which cause bad odours as well as effective for dissolving stale urine and body-fat deposits. In addition to being a very effective hard-surface cleaner, Bactericidal Cleaner has also proved to be excellent for waste pipe maintenance, helping to prevent blockages by dissolving and flushing away the buildup within the pipes. It will not resolve existing blockages, but it has been found to dramatically reduce their frequency if regularly used in the recommended way.

How to Use Gentworks Bactericidal Cleaner:
One 5 litre container typically lasts 10 to 11 months for 1 urinal bowl fitted with a Gentworks or Aquafree or AquaShield UMD retrofit cartridge.
Cleaning of urinals: Dilute 10:1, spray and wipe as with other cleaning fluids. Can also be used for Floor cleaning in 40:1 dilution.
Dosing/slucing of flushed urinals and those fitted with Aquafree and AquaShield UMD cartridges : Mix approximately 100ml of Gentworks Bactericidal Cleaner with 900ml of warm water (not scalding) water, then pour down the drain. Weekly sluicing is recommended.
Dosing/sluicing of urinals fitted with GW6 or GW6-15 cartridges: Mix approximately 100ml of Gentworks Bactericidal Cleaner with 900ml of warm water, then pour into bowl and allow to drain. This is not essential but is recommended every 2 to 4 weeks as an aid to preventing blockages.
Sluicing during maintenance of Aridian, Falcon and Uridan urinals: When a Falcon cartridge needs changing, or a Uridan trap needs maintenance, we recommend that the urinal is sluiced with 300ml of Gentworks Bactericidal Cleaner with 2700ml of warm water - 3 litres of solution in total. This will help to break down any uric scale, fats, hair and debris in the waste pipes and flush it all through to the main drain. IMPORTANT:We recommend that you only sluice urinals fitted with the Falcon Velocity cartridge, and Uridan waterless urinals, after the cartridge/outlet has been removed, for example, when the cartridge is changed or cleaned out. These urinals use an oil-based sealant to prevent odours which can be washed away if sluiced with Bactericidal Cleaner.

If you are ordering less than 9 containers, they will be delivered by APC parcel carriers between 8am and 5.30pm Monday - Friday, UK mainland only. Please note that a recipient’s signature is required.
You will be emailed a delivery date shortly after your order has been processed. We can’t currently offer timed deliveries or call ahead requests.
Bulk order Pallet Service: Bulk orders of 9 containers or more are usually delivered on a standard pallet service between 8am and 5pm to UK mainland only. Please note that a recipient’s signature is required, therefore someone needs to be on site to receive and check the goods. Our deliveries are made by driver only vehicles, as such the pallet will be delivered to curb side only and they will not be able to carry the goods into your property. Any failed deliveries due to the customer not being able to take delivery may be charged to the customer at our standard rate. Delivery vehicle can be up to 28 tons therefore it is important that the site is accessible by such vehicles.
