Flow Saver PIR Urinal Flush Controller Kit

Flow Saver PIR Urinal Flush Controller Kit

FSFCV01

Battery Powered PIR Sensor Flow Control kit for urinal cisterns, everything you need in one box.

Maintains hygiene standards whilst conserving water and dramatically cutting water costs – saving up to 95% of water usage compared with an uncontrolled cistern, and around 30-40% against more basic water management systems.
The Flow Saver consists of an electronic control sensor unit and a solenoid for installation into the water supply pipe of a urinal auto cistern. The unit monitors washroom traffic to schedule cistern flushes. Where no motion is detected a hygiene flush is initiated at 12 hour intervals. During high usage periods where the number of detections exceeds 20, the unit will temporally switch from 30 or 60 minute flushing to 15 minute flushing for improved hygiene.

Marnic Water Watch - PIR Urinal Flush Controller

Marnic Water Watch - PIR Urinal Flush Controller

WW01-B

Mains Power Version Due In Soon.

A wide-angle PIR sensor manufactured by Marnic Technologies, in an enamel painted steel case. Many thousands of this inexpensive, yet high-quality, controller have been supplied to Gentworks customers. They are very popular with schools and local authority sites as well as pubs, offices and factories.

Can be calibrated to flush up to 4 times per hour but we recommend it is set to flush 20 minutes after the sensor detects a user, therefore a maximum of 3 times per hour. If no user is detected (e.g. over weekends), there is a choice of flushing after 12 or 24 hours.

The solenoid can be installed on either vertical or horizontal pipe. An arrow on the brass body indicates the direction of flow.

Includes:
- Flush controller box with sensor eye for wall or ceiling mount above the urinals
- Marnic Solenoid valve for fitting to water supply (15mm compression fit)
- Approx 1m of 2 core cable to connect controller to solenoid
- 4.5v Alkaline Duracell battery with tails (Battery version only)
- 240v to 4.5v Built in Power Supply (PSU) (Mains version only)

Cistermiser - Standard Pressure Valve

Cistermiser - Standard Pressure Valve

STD 6073/A

One of the original flush controllers from 25 years ago, this Cistermiser works by sensing the drop in water pressure caused by hand washing.
No electronics, no sensors. They are still chosen by some, nevertheless.

This model is for use with:
- Mains water or tank-fed systems above 5 metres head
- Operating sensitivity is 10% of supply pressure

Includes:
- Flush controller unit for compression fit to cistern water feed.

Features:
- Up to 80% savings on water costs
- Reliable and low maintenance
- Water pressure sensor for detecting bathroom occupancy
- Adjustable fill time
- Adjustable operating sensitivity
- WRAS approved product

How it works
The Cistermiser hydraulic valve is installed on the supply pipe to the urinal cistern.
The valve is activated by short-term pressure drops created by use of taps or WCs on the same supply.
The valve is normally closed; when it is activated it opens and water passes to the urinal cistern until the pressures on both sides of the valve are equalised.
When the cistern is full the auto-siphon will flush.

Cistermiser - IRC Sensor with Ceiling Kit

Cistermiser - IRC Sensor with Ceiling Kit

402EIRC

Click here to view ALL MAKES of PIR sensor urinal flush controllers

The IRC has the advantage of being packaged for installation onto a wall, recessed into a false ceiling or directly onto the water supply pipe. The included solenoid valve is plumbed into the water supply to the urinal cistern. The connection to the control sensor box can be made by mounting the box directly onto the solenoid valve or remote from the valve, using the 'floating socket'.

Features:
- reduced water consumption by up to 80%
- reliable and low maintenance
- passive infra-red sensor, occupancy detection
- single valve output
- adjustable flow rate
- janitorial flush (if sensor not triggered for 12 hours)
- WRAS approved Product

The unit is supplied with mains and battery power options, so no additional external transformer is required.

How it works:
When movement is detected a pulse is sent to open the solenoid valve and water flows to the cistern. At the same time, the PIR sensor is switched off. The initial open period is 25 mins after which time PIR power is restored. Any occupancy in the next 5 minutes will cause the cycle to repeat (30min total cycle). If no occupancy, then the solenoid stays closed till the next occupancy is detected. Flow rate to the cistern is adjusted via the flow regulator in the valve. Generally, this should be set so that the cistern fills and flushes once in every 30 minute cycle. If there is no occupancy in 12 hours, the solenoid will automatically open for 30 minutes to provide a hygiene flush to the urinals and pipework.
